Subject Lotus notes closed while editing

I have a error in Lotus notes(6.51 version). Whenever I tried to edit something, lotus notes get closed and then when I try to open it says"An error occured..." then i have to end task that "nt...exe", then again it start working. But often this is coming while editing. So please suggest to resolve this issue..
